Triumph 2000s I have owned

Most of these have long since gone to the great scrapyard in the sky. Those known to survive are marked with an asterisk. I'm sure I will have forgotten some, because there were so many - and my memory is not what it used to be, even for registration numbers! As and when I remember more of them, I'll edit this post. I'll also try to find some photos.

(This car was the last big saloon off the production line, MP10228DLO. It had serious damage to the nearside, inflicted by a Sainsbury's lorry, but was otherwise in good condition. We broke it for spares before we realised what it was... today we might have tried to repair it.)

  1. i contacted andy a few months back with regards to a red mk2 2000 saloon auto reg VCV 734H i bought from andy 11YRS AGO as a non runner but good project which i travelled up from cornwall to collect from his home in reading. this car was fully restored by my father which took 12mts to do and who has always had mk2s and runs another as well VCV. Its been a brilliant reliable servant the last 10yrs through all weathers like all the triumphs weve had and is still going strong to this day.she is now a 2.5 m.o.d and will still give the modern thin tin a good run for there money even at 42 yrs old.
